Porsche 911 2.4 S Coupe - 1973
Porsche 911 2.4 S Coupe - 1973

This Porsche is made for the purist . The S version is intended to be a semi- racer and requires much effort and vehicle control from the driver in order to utilize the full capacity of this car. This is why this car makes our hearts skip a beat.

Of these 911 2.4 S only 1,430 cars were produced in 1973 with engine type 911/53 (190 hp) and Bosch mechanical fuel injection (MFI). The Porsche has a proven mileage of 138,000 km. It is a European version of which chassis, engine and gearbox are still matching. The condition of the paintwork is excellent, the car still has its original purple-blue colour (Royal Purple). Maintenance booklet and original owner's manual are present and so is most of the maintenance history (invoices available).

We have done a complete rebuilt of the chassis, including brakes and shock absorbers. Small welding has been done on the floor panel and we have applied the car with a new underbody coating.

The black leather interior is in excellent condition and features the original leather Recaro sports seats from 1973. This Porsche has classic 15 "Fuchs wheels.

Background on the 2.4 S

In 1972 Porsche introduced the 2.4 S, which was produced for only two years. The car had a high-revving, fuel-injected six-cylinder engine and an upgraded gearbox, which made it suitable for every situation. The 911 S models had a subtle spoiler fitted  under the front bumper (this was a result of the experiences with the race-908), in order to increase the stability at high speeds. The weight of this Porsche was only 1050 kg. The 2.4 S is considered the best lightweight Porsche sports car from the early 70's!
